Best of the Fest '05 - part one

Thanks for taking some of your time to stop by and check out the dccomedyfest (dccf) blog. The blog will be, hopefully, a casual way for you to acquaint yourself with fest, our shows, and the groups that help make the fest possible. Sure we will be reminding you that we have the fabulous Daniel Tosh and Elephant Larry coming on November 4th to entertain you, but we also be talking up and introducing you to groups that made the dccf '05 a smashing success.

One sketch group that awed fest audiences in '05 was MEAT! This quartet of women took fest audiences on a wild ride. Their fast paced sketches put an end to myths about women in comedy not being funny. They offered non-stop laughs that redefined what to expect from a sketch show.

The photo above shows them performing their "Evil British School Girls" Sketch. This sketch has amazing moments which are only intensified by the duality of being one of the funniest sketches ever written and by being the down right scariest sketch ever written. It will haunt your dreams with laughter.
